We all know that creating a warm, loving environment for our little ones is a priority—but what about making it a healthy one too? We often get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life, but maintaining a happy, healthy home is easier than you might think. Today, I'm sharing some of my favorite hacks that will fit seamlessly into your routine and, more importantly, won't add stress to your already packed day. Let's dive in!
1. Fresh Air, Happy Home
It might sound basic, but the power of fresh air is often underestimated. Start by cracking open the windows for at least 10–15 minutes daily. This simple act can eliminate indoor pollutants and circulate fresh air. It revitalizes your home and your family's mood, clearing out any lingering germs.
Bonus Tip: Place small houseplants around your home. Not only do they provide a pop of green, but many plants also naturally purify the air. Try spider plants or peace lilies for an easy-care option.
2. Declutter Like a Pro
With kids around, it seems like the clutter battle is never-ending! Every so often, dedicate just 15 minutes to declutter—set a timer and see how much you can tackle. Encourage your kids to join the fun; they might be more eager to part with old toys if it's a game.
3. Create a Chemical-Free Cleaning Kit
Switch out your conventional cleaning products for natural alternatives. Although it might sound daunting at first, it can be as simple as using a vinegar and water mix for surfaces. This not only reduces chemical exposure but is also economical and sustainable.

Cooking isn’t just about preparing meals; it's an opportunity to bond and educate. Involve your kids in meal prep! From washing veggies to stirring ingredients, these small tasks teach them about nutrition and give them a vested interest in what they're eating.
6. Sleep is Golden
My dear moms, sleep is just as important for you as it is for your kiddos. Establish a calming bedtime routine for the whole family. Whether it’s a warm bath, bedtime stories, or soft lullabies, these rituals signal your bodies that it’s time to wind down.
7. Positive Vibes Only
Encouragement goes a long way. Create a habit of starting each day with positive affirmations. Whether it’s a sticky note on the fridge or a shared mantra, setting a positive tone can boost your family's mood and set the trajectory for the day.
8. Hydration is Key
Never underestimate the power of water! Invest in fun, colorful water bottles for your kids to encourage regular hydration. As a bonus, frozen fruit cubes create an exciting, flavorful addition that your children will love.
9. Limit Screen Time, Increase Play Time
Easier said than done, right? Set a designated screen-free time each day devoted to playing—be it board games, outdoor activities, or even a dance party in the living room.
10. Self-Care Isn’t Selfish
Lastly, dear moms, remember to fill your cup too. Even if it's just a 10-minute coffee break or a quiet moment of meditation, these little pockets of time replenish your energy and keep you being the amazing superwoman you are!
These simple hacks aren’t just steps to a healthier home; they're building blocks for wonderful family memories. They make life a little simpler and joy-filled, and who couldn't use more of that?

Harmful chemicals threatened my well-being - 
I help others find natural and healthy products that increase well-being in their lives.

Did you know that the average woman uses 300 different synthetic chemicals, 100 of them before even leaving the house in the morning.

Few people know that I have suffered from skin problems. These have largely been caused by harmful chemicals that I used daily in my home.

After all, my body's endurance reached a kind of breaking point five years ago.

Since I have learned that every day we put products on our skin that contain harmful chemicals.

I removed all products containing unhealthy synthetic chemicals from my home, kitchen, bathroom and laundry room.

Next, I had to replace them with truly natural products that I could truly trust. Luckily my friend used products she loved so I started collecting samples and researching them and many others to see what might work well for our home,

I fell in love with the products she introduced me to because not only were they clean, but they smelled great and had so many other uses that I hadn't expected. They are not the cheapest, but the ones I had tried earlier were disappointing and I didn't use them. Young Living's products do not contain harmful chemicals and are effective, they also contain essential oil that has been sustainably produced on our own or contracted farms.

All this has made me interested in holistic well-being.

Haitalliset kemikaalit uhkasivat hyvinvointiani - autan muita löytämään elämään luonnolliset ja terveelliset hyvinvointia lisäävät tuotteet.

Tiestikö että keskiverto nainen käyttää 300 eri synteettistä kemikaalia, 100 niistä ennenkuin on aamulla edes ehtinyt lähteä kotoa.

Harvat ihmiset tietävät että olen kärsinyt iho-ongelmista. Nämä ovat suurilta osin aiheutuneet haitallista kemikaaleista joita käytin päivittäin kotonani. 

Kertakaikkiaan kehoni kestokyky saavuttu eräänlaisen lakipisteen viitisen vuotta sitten.

Sittenmin ole oppinut että, joka päivä me laitamme ihollemme tuotteita, jotka  sisältävät haitallisia kemikaaleja. 

Poistinkin kotoani, keittiöstä, kylpyhuoneesta ja siivouskomerosta kaikkea terveyttä heikentäviä synteettisiä kemikaaleja sisältäviä tuotteita. 

Seuraavaksi minun piti korvata ne aidosti luonnollisilla tuotteilla, joihin voisin todella luottaa. Onneksi ystäväni käytti tuotteita, joita hän rakasti, joten aloin kerätä näytteitä ja tutkia niitä sekä monia muita nähdäkseni, mikä voisi sopia hyvin kotimme, 

Rakastuin tuotteisiin, joita hän esitteli minulle, koska ne eivät olleet pelkästään puhtaita vaan myös tuoksuvat hyvältä ja niillä oli niin monia muita käyttötarkoituksia, joita en ollut odottanut. Ne eivät ole edullisimpia, mutta mitä olin kokeillut aikasemmin tuottivat  pettymyksen ja jäivät käyttämättä. Young Livingin tuotteet eivät sisällä haitallisia kemikaaleja ja ne ovat tehokkaita, ne myös sisältävät eteeriä öljyä joita on tuotettu kestävästi omilla- tai sopimustiloilla. 

Tämä kaikki on saanut minut kiinnostumaan kokonaisvaltaisesta hyvinvoinnista.
